The City of Talladega is one of only a handful of Alabama municipalities that has a City Manager – City Council form of government.
Talladega City Ordinance No. 1546 dated February 16, 2004 set forth this form of government as provisions of Act No. 2002-276 codified as Amendment No. 738 to the Constitution of the State of Alabama.
