Talladega's Christmas on the Square 2024 theme announced

(Talladega, AL) The City of Talladega announced that “A Dickens Christmas in Talladega” will be the theme of this year’s Christmas on the Square (COTS), which will be held December 13 - 15, 2024. Sponsorship information and vendor/food truck applications will be available at www.talladega.com under the COTS tab on the city’s website beginning Monday, July 22, 2024.
On Monday, December 9, at 4 p.m., the annual tree lighting ceremony will be held on Talladega’s Historic Courthouse Square. It will be followed by the Christmas Parade. On Friday, December 13, the skating rink will open for the weekend outside the courthouse from 6 pm - 9 pm, and the Polar Express Movie and Best Pajama Contest will be held at the Historic Ritz Theatre at 6:00 pm. Both activities are free. From 10 am - 6 pm, on Saturday, December 14, and noon - 6 pm on Sunday, December 15, there will be free holiday craft activities for children at Santa’s Workshop, a wide array of vendor booths, free ice skating, food trucks, free holiday train rides, free Christmas movies at the Ritz, and other activities on Talladega's Historic Courthouse Square. Schedule updates will be posted on the City of Talladega's website and on the City of Talladega Government Facebook page.
“As we joyfully prepare for Christmas on the Square (COTS) 2024, we invite you to help spread holiday cheer and promote your business or organization by serving as a sponsor or donor,” said City Manager Derrick Swanson.
Title Sponsor I amounts range from $25,000 to $15,000 and Title Sponsor II donations range from $14,999 to $10,000. These levels include sponsorship of either the Tree Lighting Ceremony or the Ice Skating Rink. They include a free booth at COTS and full promotion before, during and after the event. The name of Title Sponsor I will be advertised on a 24-foot banner (exclusive benefit for Title Sponsor I).
Presenting Sponsor donations range from $9999 to $5000 and include sponsorship of Vendor Village, Food Truck Alley or other stations. Presenting Sponsors receive a free booth and half promotion before, during and after the event. Local Sponsor amounts range from $4999 to $2500 and include a free booth and promotion. Community Sponsor amounts are $2,499 to $500 and include a free booth and limited promotion.
