Repairs on Willman Road mark conclusion of first phase of road improvement project

(Talladega, AL)  The City of Talladega announced on September 18, 2023, that the Willman Road culvert will be closed for repairs until further notice.  Once the culvert is repaired, Willman Road will be paved from Alison Mill to Taylor’s Mill.

"In August, the city embarked on the first phase of a major road improvement project, which includes Willman Road," said City Manager Seddrick Hill Sr. "The bidding process for the second phase of the construction project is now underway, and we look forward to continuing to beautify and improve Talladega by paving roads throughout the city.”

“I am thrilled that we are moving forward on the Willman Road project,” said Talladega City Council President Betty Spratlin. “Many Ward 4 residents have expressed their excitement about both the culvert repairs and the road paving. This is a great day for our community.”
