Georgia Pacific donates $10,000 to City of Talladega's Christmas on the Square

(Talladega, AL) Georgia-Pacific recently presented the City of Talladega with a $10,000 donation for Christmas on the Square, which will be held December 8 - 10, 2023.
Highlights of the free annual celebration include ice skating, Santa’s Workshop crafts, holiday train rides, food trucks, vendors, photos with Santa, and free holiday movies, including the Polar Express Movie and Best Pajama Contest.
“Georgia-Pacific Talladega Lumber is excited to be a part of Christmas on the Square this year. We hope everyone comes out with their family and friends to enjoy all the wonderful activities the city has planned. Seeing the community and local businesses come together to make events like this happen is a great thing to be a part of and Georgia-Pacific is proud to call Talladega home,” said Plant Administrator Robin Bennefield.
“Christmas on the Square is among Talladega’s most cherished traditions and we are thrilled that Georgia Pacific has agreed to serve as a title sponsor,” said City Manager Seddrick Hill Sr. “Thanks to Georgia Pacific and other dedicated community partners, Talladega is able to create one of the most fun and memorable holiday events in our region.”
