City will host Glow-in-the-Dark Easter Egg Hunt March 30

(Talladega, AL) Veterans Park will be aglow during the City of Talladega’s annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 30, at 7:30 p.m.  Children 12 and under may participate.

“Families throughout our community look forward to Talladega’s annual Easter Egg Hunt, so we anticipate a great turnout. Bring your baskets and flashlights and join us!” said Talladega Parks and Recreation Department Director Summer Ammons. “It will be a Glow-in-the-Dark Easter Egg Hunt, which will be especially fun and memorable.”

“We are committed to serving our entire community, including our youngest residents,” said Interim City Manager Danny Warwick.  “The city’s annual Easter Egg Hunt is a long-standing tradition that brings joy to children while giving families a fun, free activity to look forward to each year.”

Although glow-in-the-dark Easter egg hunts are a relatively new phenomenon, they have become increasingly popular as more groups and organizations have discovered the joy of nighttime egg hunts.

Talladegans are encouraged to mark their calendars and share social media flyers promoting the event, which attracts hundreds of residents.
