The Finance Department Office is located in City Hall to the left of the City Council Chambers and in with the City Clerk's Office.

The Finance Department was formed in May 2004. The functions of the Finance Department include:

  • Preparing the General Ledger for the City
  • Coordinating the official City audit
  • Prepare a fiscal year budget with the City Manager and City Council
  • Issue reports concerning the finances of the City
  • Receive and process revenue from accounts receivable, business license fees, permit fees, etc.
  • Issue Accounts Payable checks
  • Coordinate with the Purchasing Department to authorize Purchase Orders
  • Invest City funds for growth
  • Maintain all City bank accounts
